The most dangerous narcissists are, by far, the covert narcissists.
They see themselves as good people—humble, caring, and some even believe they are empaths.
Covert narcissists are particularly confusing because of how they present themselves to the world.
They are not as obvious as the overt, grandiose narcissists. Thus, their abuse is entirely unexpected.
They often do good deeds, especially for people outside their home, which adds to the confusion.
Are they good or are they bad?
This ambiguity is overwhelming because you never truly know who you are dealing with.
They are incapable of taking accountability and will blame everyone else but themselves.Â
They will never feel guilty about anything.
They will see you cry and feel nothing. They get annoyed every time you bring up your feelings. To them, your emotions are just an inconvenience.
If you recognise these traits in your relationship, you are not alone. Share your story in the comments below—let’s connect, support each other, and begin healing together.
